  • Having overall responsibility for the Group’s transfer pricing, direct tax and indirect tax matters globally, reporting directly to the Global CFO and owners
  • Managing input from the Global Direct Tax Manager and the Global Indirect Tax Manager (both of whom will report to the Global Head of Tax)
  • Responsible for tax audit defense, minimizing adjustments and penalties, etc.
  • Overseeing the Group’s transfer pricing arrangements and policies, to ensure they are optimal and in line with the latest best practice and developments in international tax law
  • Responsible for the Group’s transfer pricing documentation (master file, local files and country by country reporting) and benchmarking studies
  • Coordinating the Group’s intercompany recharge process on an annual basis
  • Implementing and maintaining tax technology tools and outsourcing relationships, to reduce manual workloads and continue efforts to modernize the Global Tax function
  • Ensuring that the structures in place in all countries where the Group is present are optimal, effective and in compliance with the laws and rulings obtained
  • Value contribution through enhancement of business operations and tax input on new business initiatives
  • Reviewing the existing fiscal structures of the Group and recommending any changes that improve the transparency and efficiency of the structure but protecting the value inherent in the structures
  • Identifying further opportunities for the business to optimize legal and fiscal structures together with legal and treasury
  • Defining fiscal policy for BUs and coordinate to deliver appropriate effective tax rate
  • Maintaining and ensuring implementation of the Global Tax Strategy and Tax Control Framework


  • Master’s Degree in Tax, Legal, Finance or Economics
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar position with global tax experience, with a background as a transfer pricing specialist
  • Previous experience in the consumer retail industry in Europe and Asia would be an advantage
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in teams
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision: highly organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
